Nanna Stjernholm Jepsen, kurator og stifter af Værelset på Vesterbro, kunne i foråret 2015 præsentere en udstilling af kurator Kim Brockett fra Melbourne, Australien. De to kuratorer har indgået et samarbejde om at udveksle udstillinger, og nu er det så blevet Stjernholm Jepsens tur til at udføre sin del af projektet. Hendes udstilling Spooky Action at a Distance kan lige nu opleves på BUS Projects i Melbourne.

Spooky Action at a Distance er et kaldenavn, som Albert Einstein skænkede det kvantefysiske fænomen ‘kvantemekanisk sammenfiltring’ tilbage i 1930’erne. Den danske fysiker Niels Bohr havde fremsat en teori om fænomenet. En teori, der blotlægger, hvordan sammenfiltrede partikler uanset afstanden imellem dem kan yde en øjeblikkelig påvirkning på hinanden.

Det er efter dette berømte Einstein-citat, at Nanna Stjernholm Jepsens udstilling i Melbourne har taget navn. I udstillingen undersøges forholdet mellem det fysiske og det digitale rum, og med værker af fem danske eller København-baserede kunstnere udforskes de overgange, som findes mellem det to-, tre- og det firedimentionelle.

Udstillingens kunstnere er Amalie Smith, Amitai Romm, David Stjernholm, Rasmus Myrup og Valérie Collart. Du kan se billeder fra udstillingen nedenfor.
