Please join us on Thursday December 14th from 4-8pm for the Danish premiere of The Strait Trilogy by Asta Lynge & Matilda Tjäder – a Nordic Noir miniseries about a portal located somewhere between Denmark and Sweden.
What was it with this place that had inspired myriad writers to journey through its darkness and shadows? Was it the landscape and latitude that invited projections beyond the horizon of the imaginable? The uncanny perfection of the “minimalist” design? Or was it perhaps the heart shaped mirror of the welfare state that at an honest glance fell from its thin nail onto the ground – shattering into pieces so sharp no one would walk away without a wound?
Asta Lynge (DK) and Matilda Tjäder (SE) have collaborated on The Strait series since 2020. Recent and forthcoming screenings include: Delfi (Malmö), BIZARRO (Copenhagen), Copenhagen Architecture Film Festival (Copenhagen), Celin (Oslo), Le Bourgeois (London), and Cittipunkt (Berlin).
