We are happy to announce the opening of the exhibition single-origin by Peter Linde Busk, an exhibition showing 13 monotypes all made in 2023.
In the new series of monotypes, Linde Busk explores the margins between figuration and abstraction, incorporating ornate imagery. Linde Busk’s fascination with material and process has been examined through the technique of making monotypes, a process reminiscent of analogue film development. From preparing the board and adjusting the paper’s moisture to ensuring precise pressure from the press – everything must be perfect. It allows no corrections; it is a ‘one-take’ process. The colors emerge in new ways, supported by handcrafted Chine Collé pieces glued onto the works.
