Kate Sterchi (b. 1988, USA) is an American artist living and working in Marfa, Texas. Kate graduated with an MFA from Funen Art Academy, Denmark (2017), and continued her studies with Sass-Fee Summer Institute of Art’s Los Angeles residency (2018). Working primarily in collaboration, work made together with Samara Sallam has been exhibited at Nikolaj Kunsthal (Copenhagen, Denmark), Til Vægs (Copenhagen, Denmark), and Rønnebæksholm (Næstved, Denmark), among others. Kate is currently instigator, curator and co-participant of ‘Institutional Kink Vol.1’, a collaborative exhibition format which opens at Shed shows in Austin, Texas in October 2023.
