Iben Zorn is continuously investigating spaces created within text and language. She works with juxtapositions between language and objects. This is seen in poetic compositions on paper as well as in a melt between different materials, such as thinly woven silk and text. Her pieces often position themselves in a balancing of conceptual traditions and minimal form language – and a more tactile handcrafted approach.
Iben has invited Julie Sophie Koldby to make a space-specific floor. She will work with a casted collage floor, an idea of a surface both reflecting and absorbing. Iben Zorn studies at Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien in the class of Julian Göthe. Julie Sophie Koldby studies at Malmö Art Academy.
