Galerie Mikael Andersen would like to welcome you to the opening of the group exhibition Works on Paper with a curated selection of works on paper by Danish and International artists, Saturday 19 February 2022, 11AM-3PM.

Works on Paper presents a wide variety of artworks on paper: drawings, watercolours, collages etc. by several artists represented by Galerie Mikael Andersen alongside other artists that the gallery has worked with throughout the years.

Eddie Martinez’s graphite drawings and Jesper Christiansen’s large painting on paper as well as the vibrant gouaches of Shara Hughes and Sebastian Dacy’s earthy oil colours all work with paper as a classical medium. The works in the show, from Moshekwa Langa’s slick lines to graphic ink drawings by Sonja and Ernest Mancoba, all explore the multitude of possibilities contained in a simple piece of paper.
